Enrolment Process
We are delighted that you are considering an Oxford Falls Grammar education for your child. Oxford Falls Grammar accepts enrolment applications from birth. It is recommended you submit an enrolment application as soon as possible. Applications for entry to all school years are to be made via the online enrolment form by clicking the APPLY NOW button below.
Step 1: Apply
Our main points of entry are Kindergarten, Year 3, Year 5, and Year 7; however, we accept applications for all years.
To Apply:
- Complete our online Enrolment Application
- Upload supporting documentation.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of $330 (incl GST) per child.
Important: A separate Application Form must be submitted for each child. Once we have processed your completed Application Form, you will receive an email confirming that your child has been placed on the waitlist.
Entry Preferences:
- Entry for new students is preferred at the start of the academic year.
- Mid-year entry requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on available places and at the discretion of the relevant Heads of School.
Waitlist Information:
- Applications will be waitlisted for the chosen year group and entry point, ordered by the date we receive the online Application Form.
- Being waitlisted does not guarantee an interview or an offer of enrolment.
- Some applicants may be offered a place without the need for an interview, while others may be contacted to attend one as part of the selection process.
- While we strive to accommodate all enrolment requests, we cannot guarantee a position due to demand exceeding available places.
- The School solely reserves the right to decline an interview or place at the School. Additionally, the School may defer an offer if parents, aware of their child’s educational needs, choose not to disclose or withhold relevant information regarding these needs.
Step 2: Review Process
An Enrolment Committee, consisting of executive and teaching staff from both Junior and Senior School, will review all enrolment applications. We value the partnership between parents and the School as a crucial aspect of each child’s learning journey. It begins with parents providing full disclosure of all relevant information regarding their child’s educational, social, physical, or emotional needs.
For all applications to Oxford Falls Grammar, excluding Kindergarten, we will send a Confidential Information Request form to the current school to gather additional information. The Enrolment Committee will review this information.
After reviewing applications, some families may be invited for a formal interview. Due to a high volume of applicants, not all will proceed to this stage. The interview helps us learn more about your child and allows you to understand more about Oxford Falls Grammar. If your child requires support, a Collaborative Planning process may be initiated post-interview. Failure to submit all relevant documentation may jeopardize enrolment.
Timing for Applications:
- 18 months prior for Kindergarten and Year 5
- Two years prior for Year 7 entry
- One year prior for all other entries
Please note that a school tour is not included in the interview stage.
Step 3: Offer and Accept Contract
Offer of Enrolment
Offers of Enrolment are subject to availability, made through our online enrolment platform, and at the discretion of the Head of School and/or School Registrar. An interview does not guarantee an offer of a place.
Acceptance
To accept the Offer of Enrolment, a non-refundable fee of $1500 (GST free) must be paid, along with completing and signing the Acceptance of Offer, which includes our Terms and Conditions.
We will then confirm your child’s enrolment and send you some new student information.
