At Oxford Falls Grammar, we are committed to laying a solid foundation for our students’ educational journey. Mrs Skye Wells, Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning, presented a Reading Information night for our K-2 parents. Mrs Wells and the K-2 teaching team shared with parents the research on effective reading instruction and how best to engage with their children and support their reading at home. Our parents were able to sample some of the activities covered in class and gain a deeper understanding of the reading process. The K-2 team has engaged in extensive Professional Development to ensure the syllabus maintains a standard of excellence for our youngest learners, establishing strong foundations from day one.
