OFGS is the proponent for the construction of a single storey, at grade carpark (with 84 car spaces) within the Oxford Falls Grammar School site, at 1078 Oxford Falls Road, Oxford Falls (the site). The proposed building will be located on the western side of the creek, which runs through the site in a north-westerly direction. Access to the carpark is via the existing driveway crossing from Dreadnought Road.
The development has been assessed as a ‘Development Permitted without Consent’ under the State Environmental Planning Policy – Educational Establishments and Child Care Facilities 2017 (the ESEPP).
D.M Planning Pty Ltd has prepared a REF dated 26 March 2021 to assess the potential impacts of the proposed activity. The REF was prepared in accordance with Part 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act), clause 228 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 (EP&A Regulation) and the Environmental Assessment Code of Practice for Part 5 Activities, for non-registered schools (the Code).
To allow the proposed activity to proceed, OFGS has made a determination of the REF in accordance with Part 5 of the EPA Act.
